Republic of Emergistan

Welcome to Edwin Leap's Emergistan! Emergistan is a place, and a state of mind, for the untold numbers of physicians, mid-levels, nurses, paramedics, secretaries, police officers, social workers and firefighters who work in, and pass through, America's emergency rooms and trauma centers. It's a place full of tragedy and comedy, poor choices and natural selection, pain and hope. It's the medical safety net for millions of people. And it's the drug abuse refueling center for far too many. Emergistan is the place where dedicated, hard working professionals do their best to rescue humans from death, disease and injury. It's also the place where people bring their social drama, dysfunction and bizarre situations in hopes of guidance...or at least work excuses. All of us who work there, or love someone who works there, are travelers in The Republic of Emergistan. We're dedicated to doing our best for the natives. In wonderful, bizarre kind of connection, whether caregivers or patients, we are all Emergistanis.

If you're proud of your work, however frustrating it can be, here's the place to show your dedication to Emergistan. What you'll see here is the first installation of product logos, but rest assured, more will follow! The irony, humor, pride and deeply suppressed frustration we feel knows no bounds, and can result in all kinds of fun gear! So tell your friends, spread the word and show your devotion to The Republic of Emergistan!

We have Republic of Emergistan buttons, badge-holders, stickers,landyards, t-shirts and sweatshirts.

Because this is a new project, we'll keep it simple at first. Shirts and sweatshirts can be custsomized by size, style and color,

as well as where you want the logo (left chest, or a FULL back....or both).

Stickers, buttons, landyards and badge-holders are standardized.

Over time, we'll have more to offer if the world of emergency response likes the Republic of Emergistsan.
